Dante’s life (64) has lost its meaning after the death of his mother and his retirement. The one thing that motivates Dante to keep on living is to take revenge on his mother’s tormentors when after her death he founds out closely guarded secrets from the past. He meets Raya (18), the granddaughter of one of the rapists. Will she ignite his desire for revenge or lead him to forgiveness?
Dimitar Radev studied Film and TV Directing at NAFTA, Sofia; holds a master degree in Film Directing from NBU; completed courses in Directing and Screenwriting at the New York Film Academy and holds a master degree in Creative Writing from the University of Sofia. He made several shorts, a documentary about the drug commune Bilani; published a book of short stories, Absalom’s Hair. Dante’s Paradise is his feature directorial debut.
