The power of love has to prevent the suicide of a girl in a series of comic situations. The rumour mill of the sensation-seeking tabloid press goes wild over a 70-year-old celebrity allegedly having an affair with a 23-year-old gold digger, and there they are: a priest with his ‘reformed’ prisoners from his Sunday school, a former navy captain accompanied by dizzy old men, sisters fighting over inheritance, followed by and avalanche of absurd experiences.
